CHAPTER 7
I held my arm and looked around.
I didn't see anyone.
Then a girl about my age appeared. (I could only see her eyes at that time.) She stared at me, giving me the look that said 'you are an IDIOT'. IDIOT in BOLD , CAPITAL letters. It got me pissed(I was already pissed in the first place) and honestly,who would like getting shot at? So I screamed at her. "WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?"
She just continued to stare at me, that's when I noticed something in her hand. It was a gun, shining ever so brightly under the streetlights.
Oh crud.... The bullet HAD to come from some where! Geez! How could I forget?!
Because of your idiocity?
Oh shut up.
I tried to slowly walk away. I don't know why slowly, but I felt as if if I ran she would just shoot me again. Her eyes followed my every move, which completely made me feel... FREAKED OUT.... Then when I was just about to turn around, she charged at me from behind and started shooting at random.
'If she was shooting like that just now, I'm just plain unlucky.'
I dodged all the bullets but nearly got hit a few times.
I love my computer eye!! o_____o
She continued chasing me and threw a knife but missed. (It hit a tree instead.)
Suddenly something heavy from behind hit my neck and I fell to the ground with a loud thud. Then I realized the knife was a decoy. While I was focusing on the knife she attacked me from behind.
'She's got brains! Wow!' I thought sarcastically. (I'm not the most optimistic person. ) =_=
"Idiotic." She sneered. She peered down at my face then I thought she looked quite familiar.
Wherewherewherewherewhere? MIKA!!
-Silence-
OK. She's too evil to be Mika...... '-_-
"That's mean..." She said as she bent down to my level and stared at me again. But this time she had the sympathetic look in her eyes. "But it's true...I'm not this Mika that you speak of. I'm Kiyouko Miyoka...." She said. Then her expression suddenly changed back to the evil look like when I first saw her. She held something in her hand and it was shining too, just like the gun. But it was the knife. When I looked at the knife I saw my own reflection, I had a light scratch above my eyebrow.
'Where, did I get that from?' I asked myself while inspecting my scratch through the knife.
"Just now. And I must say, your blood taste rather good for a normal person. Because I happen to like only certain people's blood," Miyoka started licking her lips after she said that. "But don’t worry." she said after seeing my shocked expression. "I'm not a vampire. I just enjoy the smell of fresh blood...."
"How do you know what I'm thinking?" I asked her out loud.
"Who knows? It's none of your business anyway..." She replied, and left without another word.
What a mean person!! She just started attacking me randomly and left me here to bleed and die.. T_T
I yawned. I was too tired to walk back home so I stayed there, leaning against a tree, and fell asleep.
CHAPTER 8
~Next Morning~10.31am~Saturday
Oh man….I feel like I can’t move.
I opened my eyes and took a while to adjust to the light.
"SASAKIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!" a voice that sounded very much like Yuki’s voice yelled. Then something plonked itself beside me.
"OWWWWWWWW!!!!!" I yelled immediately then I quickly recoiled. Instincts hurt...LITERALLY.
I looked down and saw Yuki snuggling under the covers with me, another thing that I noticed was I wasn’t at the place where I had slept last night. I was on a bed. Not just on any bed, on the Masaga’s guest room bed!
"How did I end up here?" I sat up, ignoring the pain.
"Kint -eeeeeeee!!"
"How did he find me?"
"Dunno!"
"Why don’t you know?"
"I dunno why I dunno!" Yuki replied smiling brightly at me.
'-_- "Where’s Mika?"
"Yum yum yum…." Yuki said rubbing her stomach.
"Breakfast?"
"Uh- huuuuuh."
~Kitchen~ 10.35am
I saw Mika at the fridge with her head all the way in, Taking out (More of THROWING) ham, eggs, an apple, milk, some vegetables, cheese, yoghurt and several loaves of bread.
"Is THAT her breakfast?!" o_o I asked Yuki.
"Yep."
"HOW CAN SHE STAY THIS SLIM?" I asked looking at Mika’s size.
"Dunno!"
"Where’s Kint anyway?"
"Room sleeeeeeeeeeeping…shhhhhh..."
"Why don’t you wake him up?" I asked
"BECAUSE-" Mika said, then she stopped to gulp down some ham.
How does it even get down her throat? o_O
"ME SAY! YUKI SAY!" Yuki shouted, cutting into what Mika had said. "Because… Kint say NOOOOOOOO!!!"
Just at that moment, Kint strolled down the stairs , rubbing his eyes and yawning. "Who was 'at shouTING?!"
Mika scooted beside me and whispered, "Typical 'wake-up' mood." Then we both pointed at Yuki.
"Uh-oh." Yuki said.
"What time is it?" Kint asked lazily.
Mika looked around then noticed no one was gonna reply him. "Uh… 10.45."
"Still early. Goodnight people!" Kint said waving his hand and walked back to his room.
"GOODNIGHT?!"I gasped. It was 10.43….. IN THE MORNING.
"No punish Yuki?" Yuki whispered.
Then Kint’s head popped back into sight. "NU-UH…. Not now, I’ll do it tonight. When you’re fast asleep, I’ll take all your toys and snip them into pieces!"
"OH NOOOOO! Then I won’t SLEEP!!!" Yuki said stubbornly, crossing her arms across her chest.
(Kint) "Stubborn little brat!"
(Yuki) "No I’m not!"
(Kint) "Gotcha'elf any proof?!"
(Yuki) *Starts crying*
-(The conversation between Kint and Yuki continues in the background)-
"Are they always like that?" I asked Mika.
"Not really. This only happens once in a while….I mean the punishment is different but the whole ‘Yuki wakes Kint up’ thing 'appens E-VE-RY morning." Mika replied as she gulped down a fried egg.
"Sooo…… Does he really do what he says?" I asked again, while grabbing a slice of bread from Yuki’s untouched plate.
"NEVER. But Yuki doesn’t seem to realize it…." Mika said sighing.
"MYGOODNESS SHE IS SO SLOW!!" Mika and I said at the same time staring at each other with wide eyes.
~After breakfast~11a.m
(Kint ended up staying outside and not going back to bed after the 'fight' was resolved.)
"TIME TO GO HOME!!!!" I yelled jumping out of my chair.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! EARTHQUAKE!!!!!EVERYONE GET BELOW THE TABLE!!!!!!" Mika screamed when she saw me jump out of my seat.
Everyone else = ‘-_-
"Sasaki leave so early?" Yuki stared at me with those huge eyes of hers, "Can I come too?" Yuki asked hopefully.
"Ask Mika…. or Kint. Whoever you prefer." I said.
Yuki turned to both of them and said, "Pretty pleeeeeease!!!!! Ice-cream with sugar on top! And cherries and apples and bananas and omelets an-"
"ENOOOUUGH!!!!" Mika yelled.
"The combination is gross…" Kint told Yuki. "But I like ice-cream with bananas!" he said grinning. His smile was crooked.
"You may go." Mika said, rolling her eyes at Kint’s comment.
"YAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! YUKI TOKIKO HOOOOOOUSEY TIMEE!!!" Yuki shouted happily.
"I’ll pick you at 4, so be ready by 'en." Mika said.
"HOORAY!!" Yuki shouted again.
Everything's back to normal huh?
~At home~
TARGET : ROOM
HEAT SOURCE SEARCH.
ZOOMING... ... ...
2 HEAT SIGNALS CONFIRMED.
ZOOMING INTO HEAT SOURCES.
NORMAL CLEAR PICTURE MODE.
"ZEKIIIII!!!!! SHIROOOOO!!!!!! YUKI HEEEEEEREEE!!!!!!!!" Yuki sang as she ran to Zeki’s room.
"Psst! The monstrosity is here!" Zeki whispered to Shiro.
"AAAAAAAH!!RUN FOR YO-" Shiro yelled.
Zeki immediately pulled Shiro’s shirt then whispered again, "Shhhhh!!!! She’ll hear you!!Under the bed! Quick!"
"Zeki? Shiro?" Yuki’s innocent voice entered the room.
"SASAKIIIIII!!!!!! ZEKI NOT HOME?" Yuki shouted to me
“USUAL HIDING PLACE!" I shouted back.
“Okaaay!!!” Yuki replied.
Yuki flicked over the covers of Zeki’s bed then asked him, “Zeki, can I ask you something?”
“Shoot.” He said immediately.
*In Zeki’s language ‘shoot’ means ‘just do it’.
“Can I kill you when I find you for being bad bad?” She asked.
“No.” He said blankly. Not realising Yuki was following the sound of his voice.
Just then, Yuki looked under the bed. “FOUND YOU!” she yelled in both their ears.
“AHHHHHH!! IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD!!” Shiro shrieked.
“Okay……….. Since I can’t kill both of you, let’s play……. DRESS UP!!” Yuki said excitedly.
“Ohhhh boy oh boy! I’m NOT gonna miss this!” I said happily. XD
Just how long will this happiness last? I wonder... Will she come back? When? and that reminds me... Where did the bullet's mark go? o_O
